I didn't read your article because of the headline (I remember it), but I've had that happen. I asked a fairly famous liberal comedianne not to insult wicca and she sent her followers after me. I had them digging into my school records, reading everything I ever wrote, and many calling me racist (the comedianne is white BTW) for some reason I don't understand. And I've had socialists post my picture all over google and threaten to dox. There are some people you just can't communicate with rationally.
